Jason and Katie Yahnke purchased Wild Winds Ranch in 2022. Jason and Katie, along with their daughters, have many big plans for the Ranch. They are all passionate about horses and know the hard work and dedication it takes to operate a successful Horse Facility. Their main goal is to welcome all levels of horsemanship to the Ranch and make it everyone's "Happy Place." 

My name is Lauren and I am a boarder, chore helper, and a lesson instructor at Wild Winds Ranch. I have 10 plus years of horse experience. Wild Winds Ranch was the first facility that taught me everything I know today about horses and riding. I started riding lessons as a young child and I am now extremely blessed to have my own horse and able to share my passion and knowledge of horses with everyone from young children to adults. I specialize in Western riding, and recently have been dabbling in English!

Hello my name is Jenny and I offer riding lessons at Wild Winds Ranch. I am a wife, mother of 2 great kids, 2 dogs, and a horse named Carlos. I have been active with horses for 15+ years, graduated from UW-River Falls with a degree in Animal Science- Horse Emphasis, and instructed the Intro to Horsemanship riding course at college level. I also had a riding lesson program, Equine Opportunities, of my own for a couple years.

I have been riding horses for most of my life.  Early on, I found the love of training and teaching the next generation. I have competed from the local circuit up to rated shows at WEC Ocala, Ohio, Mason City, and Fall Harvest. My focus is on hunters, jumpers, and producing young horses. I have taught young, and inexperienced riders up to older riders rekindling their love for horses.
